I am Bianca, a second-generation esthetician. Beauty is in my blood. I grew up watching my mother work with passion and precision, transforming skin with her hands. But while I admired her dedication, I also saw the struggles she faced behind the scenes.

So I listened. I majored in foreign language studies (English and Italian) in high school and later pursued a business degree in college. I excelled in school, but something was missing.

For years, I followed a safe, practical path. But deep down, I lacked one thing: passion.
That all changed the day I enrolled in a professional makeup course. What was meant to be a side interest became a turning point. The moment I held a brush, I felt something I had never felt before—purpose. I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.

My journey in beauty truly took off when I began working for MAC Cosmetics, part of Estée Lauder.
There, I didn’t just master makeup—I learned something far more valuable:

This deep understanding of customer experience and education shaped me. Later, as the Advanced Education Coordinator for Christine Valmy—a top beauty school in New York—I applied those same principles to esthetics students.
For the past six years, I have worked directly with aspiring estheticians, helping them refine their craft. More than 300 students have taken my dermaplaning class, and their feedback has been instrumental in shaping what is now my own perfected technique and course.
The Dermaplaning Roadblock: A Broken System
As I advanced in the beauty industry, I sought out new skills—one of them being dermaplaning.

- I walked out feeling lost, unprepared, and cheated.
To make matters worse, most dermaplaning courses were designed by nurses—not estheticians.

- They failed to mention skin prep and aftercare—which are essential.
- In early trainings, they even used acetone and pure alcohol to prep the skin—products that severely dehydrate and irritate.
I knew dermaplaning could be so much more than that.
It wasn’t just about using a blade—it was about creating smooth, healthy, radiant skin.
