A Legacy of Beauty—And Struggle

I am Bianca, a second-generation esthetician. Beauty is in my blood. I grew up watching my mother work with passion and precision, transforming skin with her hands. But while I admired her dedication, I also saw the struggles she faced behind the scenes.

Seeing this, she never wanted me to follow in her footsteps. She wanted more stability for me, a different path—one without the hardships she had endured.
So I listened. I majored in foreign language studies (English and Italian) in high school and later pursued a business degree in college. I excelled in school, but something was missing.

The Moment Everything Changed

For years, I followed a safe, practical path. But deep down, I lacked one thing: passion.
That all changed the day I enrolled in a professional makeup course. What was meant to be a side interest became a turning point. The moment I held a brush, I felt something I had never felt before—purpose. I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
From that day forward, my career took a 180-degree turn.

From MAC to Christine Valmy: Understanding Real Clients & Students

My journey in beauty truly took off when I began working for MAC Cosmetics, part of Estée Lauder.
There, I didn’t just master makeup—I learned something far more valuable:
This deep understanding of customer experience and education shaped me. Later, as the Advanced Education Coordinator for Christine Valmy—a top beauty school in New York—I applied those same principles to esthetics students.
For the past six years, I have worked directly with aspiring estheticians, helping them refine their craft. More than 300 students have taken my dermaplaning class, and their feedback has been instrumental in shaping what is now my own perfected technique and course.

The Dermaplaning Roadblock: A Broken System

As I advanced in the beauty industry, I sought out new skills—one of them being dermaplaning.
Excited to learn, I enrolled in a professional class. But what should have been an empowering experience turned into frustration.
To make matters worse, most dermaplaning courses were designed by nurses—not estheticians.
While nurses are trained in handling surgical blades, they are not trained in skincare.
I knew dermaplaning could be so much more than that.
It wasn’t just about using a blade—it was about creating smooth, healthy, radiant skin.
So, I made a decision:

Why My Dermaplaning Course is Different

Unlike other courses that only teach how to use the blade, my course is designed with a spa-focused approach—because dermaplaning is so much more than just shaving the skin.
